Chasing and Photographing the Aurora & AGM
5 June @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm BST
Talk by Wil Cheung
We will also have the Sky in June and our AGM at the end of the meeting.
Join me as I share what it really takes to witness and capture one of nature’s most spectacular phenomena — the Northern Lights. Having seen the aurora over 400 times, I’ll take you behind the scenes of chasing it across Iceland and Norway . The talk will cover how the aurora works, how to forecast it, where to go, and how to photograph it — from smartphones through to professional setups. I’ll also share personal stories from the field, including the challenges, surprises, and unforgettable moments that come with chasing the lights.
