It may have been a tricky night for visual meteor observers last night, with the Moon and intermittent cloud brightening the skies, but our meteor cameras captured a good haul of Perseids, which peaked yesterday.

Our ASE meteor cameras now cover most of Scotland as well as other parts of the UK and Europe, and they captured a total of 1748 Perseids over the night of 12/13 August.

Here are some of the more interesting detected stacks and individual meteors from our cameras. Data via the Global Meteor Network and UK Meteor Network.
