One of the things you may not know about us if you are not a member is that we run quite a few internal projects.
Some of them are using data from our remote telescope in Spain, ASERO, others using our own kit wherever we happen to be. You can see the projects we currently have in the logos above. Some of the things we do include:
- Our Asteroid project searches for asteroids as part of the IASC search and we have already identified quite a lot of new candidates. We also track them using our own data from ASERO.
- Our Comet project is one of the most active, monitoring, imaging and doing photometry on various comets as they appear.
- The Variable Star project includes studying eclipsing binaries, long period pulsators, cataclysmic variables and more. Data is uploaded to the BAA and AAVSO.
- We take part in the ExoClock project, timing exoplanet transits.
- The Planets project is relatively new but our members are producing some nice images of the major planets, all of which are on display in our night skies at the moment.
- We also take part in the HOYS project and contribute data to that, as well as supporting it and being involved in its management and guidance.

- And we also take lots of beautiful pictures of the most amazing, well-known and more obscure objects in the night sky.
