Thank you to everyone who joined us for the live stream on International Observe the Moon Night 2020. You can watch the video on YouTube.

Because the Moon was so low at our latitude, we decided to look at some other objects as well and managed to see:

  • Saturn
  • Jupiter
  • Double star Albireo
  • Globular cluster M15
  • Dumbell Nebula M27
  • Andromeda galaxy M31
  • Double cluster H and Chi Persei
  • Open cluster M34

If you want to find out more about observing these sorts of objects have a look at our ASE-24 Observing List for Beginners

We do plan to do more live streams over the next few months, including looking at Mars which is bright and well placed at the moment.
