Journal
The Society's only current publication is its Journal which appears three or four times each year. Issues 1-50 were edited by Dr Dave Gavine, issues 51-64 were edited by Dr Horst Meyerdierks. The Journal is currently without editor.

Annual Report
The Society publishes its Annual Reports and Accounts as required by the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 1992.

Guide to the City Observatory
The Society has produced a short Guide to the City Observatory which is available on-line. The Society occupied the observatory from 1938 until 2008 and hopes to be able to return when the buildings are renovated to an acceptable standard.
Constitution of the Society
The most boring (but legally significant) document is the Constitution of the Astronomical Society of Edinburgh.
