We are currently in the process of planning our Open Evening programme for the winter so more events will be added soon.
Doors Open Day - 29th September 2007
The observatory will be open to the public as part of the annual Doors Open Day event run by the Cockburn Association. This will be from 10am until 4pm. Feel free to come along and look around, or join in with one of the tours we are organising.
If the weather is good then we will be re-opening at 8pm on the evening of Saturday 29th September to allow some views through one of the telescopes we have at the observatory. Please check back here after 7pm to see if this will be going ahead (once we have seen what the weather is like). Wear warm clothes. We hope to keep queues to a minimum but it does get cold in the telescope dome.
