
Stargazing LIVE is returning to BBC Two on the 16th - 18th of January 2012. In 2011, hosted by Brian Cox and Dara Ó Briain at the Jodrell Bank radio telescope, the series was a huge success and inspired over 300 stargazing events, from Glen Nevis to Guernsey.
The British Broadcasting Corporation, Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, Royal Observatory Edinburgh, Astronomical Society of Edinburgh, National Museum of Scotland and Our Dynamic Earth invite you to get hands-on with astronomy. The event runs

Free activities for all the family - telescope viewing sessions, get hands-on with meteorites, comet making demonstrations, find out about lichens in space, design your own mini Mars marauder, expert talks, storytelling sessions, free star guides and activity packs.
Please bring warm and waterproof clothing for the telescope viewing sessions, which will be scheduled on the day at the event. Remember though, we need a clear sky to see the stars.
