Winter 2008 Programme of Meetings

Our meetings are open to the public (unless otherwise stated). We are always happy to see new faces.

Ordinary meetings took place at 8pm (Civil Time) in the City Dome of the City Observatory, Calton Hill (usually on the first Friday of the month) until January 2008. Venues for future meetings will be advertised when they have been confirmed.

2009 January 9th Special Discussion Meeting
  Members will be sent a discussion paper in advance of this meeting at which the Society's Council will canvas members' opinions about the future of the Society and the venue for meetings.
 
  23rd Observing Session at the Addiewell Dark Sky Site

 This meeting will be held in the sanctuary of the Augustine Church, George IV Bridge, EH1 1EL
 
March 13th Annual General Meeting followed by a talk by Angus Self on Meteorites
 Please note that this is the second Friday of March.
This meeting will be held in the studio of the Augustine Church, George IV Bridge, EH1 1EL. This is downstairs but there is a lift available for those who wish it.
